I can't cry hard enough.
Like every day's the last
Without a simple goodbye
It all goes by so fast
And now that you've gone
I can't cry hard enough
No, I can't cry hard enough
For you to hear me now
Gonna open my eyes
And see for the first time
I let go of you like
A child letting go of his kite
There it goes, up in the sky
There it goes, beyond the clouds
For no reason why
I can't cry hard enough
No, I can't cry hard enough
For you to hear me now
Gonna look back in vain
And see you standing there
When all that remains
Is an empty chair
And now that you've gone
I can't cry hard enough
No, I can't cry hard enough
For you to hear me now

Music Is My Life
What does music mean to you? I wake up every morning, take a shower, eat, sleep, work, and play with music everyday. Basicly, just like Lim Jeong Hee said in her song title, music is my life.
As I review Andra & The Backbone vs Yoon Gun saga in my previous entry (XDD), I notice some musicians got influence from other people's music too. In this case, my favorite artists. Let see...
[+] Rain (Bi) admitted that he's a fan of Usher. Check out his songs - especially on his latest album.
[+] M (Lee Min Woo) is a fan of Justin Timberlake. He dances just like JT.
[+] M's song Boyfriend reminds me so much of Ne-Yo's Because Of You.
[+] Energy (Taiwanese boyband) obviously took cover Shinhwa's songs Hey! Come On and sang it in Chinese - which they (Energy) became popular with. No offense to Energy fans, but I hate Energy since then. I am a Shinhwa lover.
[+] And Energy also sang Fly To The Sky's song, Se7en's song, SM Town's song... #_#
[+] Fly To The Sky had a song composed by Brian McKnight himself - Condition Of My Heart. They also sang the Korean version of All 4 One's Not Ready For Goodbye. Cool.
[+] KangTa's song Gamyeon is so Babyface's Loneliness.
[+] Indonesian duo Tofu sang the Indonesian version of Jay Chou's Love Before Century (Ai Zai Xi Yuan Qian). Not a copycat, they said. Just remake the song. Hmm. I like Jay's version waaay better.
[+] Shinhwa's song Brand New reminds me of Beyonce's Crazy In Love.
[+] Lee Hyori was suspected to copying Britney Spears' song into her Get Ya song.
[+] Korean band NE1 sang Korean version of Dewa's song Takkan Ada Cinta Yang Lain in their 1st album Jakarta Bintang (2005). And they sang in Indonesian too! Too bad I missed their performance in Hard Rock Cafe Jakarta last year.
[+] Agnes Monica admitted that she's a fan of TVXQ. Well, her style reminds me so much of BoA... with her clothes/performances.
[+] Agnes also had a duet with Keith Martin.
[+] Kim Dong Wan from Shinhwa always sings Japanese songs in Shinhwa's concert for his solo performance. Such as Misia's Everything, X-Japan's Tears...
[+] Once he sang Bon Jovi's You Give Love A Bad Name, and it was terrible. LOL. His English ruined everything XD (No offense, Dong Wan. I still love you though.) Maybe that's why Kim Dong Wan then prefer Japanese songs over English. It's easier :)
[+] Although, I really don't know why Shin Hye Sung from Shinhwa sang Ricky Martin's Livin La Vida Loca for his solo performance in Shinhwa concert O__o I thought Hyesungie is a pure R&B lover?
And many more.
Well, music influences everyone. And everything.

Andra & The Backbone - (Nggak Terlalu) Sempurna...
Sejak liburan Lebaran kemarin, gue cukup ter-braiwash dengan lagu Sempurna dari Andra & The Backbone. Melodinya enak, liriknya bagus, dan selain karena video klipnya yang diputar maraton di semua stasiun TV (err, maksud gue stasiun TV musik seperti MTV Asia, Global TV... gitu deh), sebenernya diantara para personel Dewa emang cuma Andra yang gue kecengin XDD
Pokoknya lagu Sempurna itu beneran 'nyolong' perhatian gue banget.
But speaking of speaking...
Lambat laun gue mulai merasa kalau lagu itu kok 'familiar' buat gue... Hmmmm... *mulai berpikir*
Melodinya kaya nggak asing buat gue. Apa ya? Apa ya? Apa ya?
Ah, memang lagu jaman sekarang kan suka mirip-mirip melodinya, ya wajarlah. Apalagi frekuensi pemutarannya yang agak ekstrim, ya wajar donk kalo melodinya nyantol banget di otak *mulai menenangkan diri*.
Selesai libur Lebaran, gue kembali ke singgasana gue (alias kamar gue). Dan perasaan 'familiar' itu semakin membuat "HMMM.... APA YA? APA YA?" gue jadi kapital. Gue mulai menelusuri jejak list winamp gue.
Dan... AHA!
Indonesia kan udah banyak banget menjiplak, apalah artinya meributkan satu lagu. Hahaha.
Teori gue :
A. Andra jalan-jalan ke Korea, terus nemu toko CD.. Belanja CD deh dia buat referensi musiknya. Eh, nemu satu lagu enak nih, punyanya Yoon Gun. Yoon Gun Siapa sih? Nggak pernah denger. Lagu lama pula, taun 2003. Ulik-ulik melodinya... Gitarnya oke juga...
B. Sebenernya Andra & The Backbone adalah pecinta K-Pop juga! Uwauw! Jadi mereka juga suka ama Brown Eyes... terutama Yoon Gun. Jadi sering denger lagunya deeh, apalagi Galsaek Meori kan lumayan ngetop dulu...
Lalu... (Pilih salah satu) :
Option 1. Lama-kelamaan jadi nyantol di otak deh, jadi nggak nyadar pas bikin lagu, melodinya jadi sama.. Ah masa sama sih? Nggak kooook...
Bukan nyontek donk namanya. Nggak apa-apa lah.
Option 3. Semua option benar.
XDD Pilih teori yang mana? Hmmmmmmmm......
Mungkin musti tunggu jawaban Mas Andra, 'kali ya... (Ada yang mau nanya ama dia? Gih. Tanyain.
